When he came to LCOL, they
were unsure,
With all their needs,
would a young man endure?
Two years without Preacher
had been a disaster,
Challenges existed that called
for a Pastor,
But he was in the springtime
of his career,
Just barely old enough to
vote and drink beer,
He was inexperienced and looked
like a kid,
But rose to the challenge,
it’s amazing what he did,
At age 30, entering the summer
of his career,
Full of promise and
success, I wish him a great year!
