THE SOB'S IN WASHINGTON ADDED ANOTHER 4 TRILLION TO THE DEBT!!

“I have read the bill and can’t find the spending cuts — even with an electron magnifying glass,” said Representative Trey Gowdy of South Carolina. “It’s part medicinal, part placebo, and part treating the symptoms but not the underlying pathology.” “I personally hate it,” Representative John Campbell, a Republican from California, said of the bill. “The speaker the day after the election said we would give on taxes, and we have, but we wanted spending cuts. This bill has spending increases. Are you kidding me?”

Do you hear the sound of a tin can being kicked down the road again? Nobody seems to be talking about the fact that the so called 'fiscal cliff compromise' settles nothing. In several months the nation's debt ceiling will shut down the government unless it is increased. The coming battle in Washington concerning this huge issue will be even more fierce than the 'fiscal cliff debate'. My hope is that they will have to cut spending in order to reach agreement on increasing the debt ceiling. Is that too much to hope for? So far, our government representatives continue to be irresponsible SOB's! If you see one, shake your fist at him.

  1. The Tsar says: It's a scam. We are being flimflammed by our representatives once more. (How long can they continue the con before the voters finally start throwing their worthless arses out.)
They passed a bill raising our taxes and then in the last minute plus one, they "rescued" us from their folly and now take credit for saving us.
Well, someone please save us from WashDC.
But, what to do? The Tsar is glad they didn't jump over the fiscal cliff and raise his taxes. That had to be done.
However, much more needs to be done. The Tsar is not holding his breath.

  2. Harry:

When you say "that tey will have to cut spending in order to reach agreement on increasing the debt ceiling" just exactly what spending are you talking about? From my perspective, I do not see a need to cut spending just for cutting spending sake. If a government program is not working, yes, then cut it. I firmly believe that the government debt is not outrageous and we need to spend more on programs that will give the out of work jobs. Perhaps a program like the WPA or CCC of the the '30's.

  4. The Tsar agrees with Mr. Warner who is either a Democrat or an apostate Republican. No matter, right is right, and wrong is stupid. Let's get them there jobs going, tax revenues arising, and then we can worry about those evil deficits.
